Demon Run Rules

Non-members must stop, join and pay their per ATV/UTV parking fees at Demmon Lake Recreation Snack Bar and show their current member card and a photo ID when arriving at DEMON RUN ATV TRAILS--EVERY VISIT. Current members can park first, then ride their ATVs to the Snack Bar to pay their parking fees.
 
Do not track mud into the Snack Bar – clean off your footwear or remove it.
 
Before riding ANYWHERE, everyone must complete and sign an application and liability waiver.
 
A liability waiver must be signed by a parent or the legal guardian of any minor (child or children under the age of 18) upon entering the premises.
 
Membership is from May 1st through April 30th of the following year.
 
Membership fees are not prorated. The fees remain the same for the entire year, no matter when a member joins.
 
Family memberships include; Husband, Wife and any children under the age of 18 still living at home unless in college or the military.
 
All children under the age of 18 must have constant adult supervision and cannot ride on any trails without an adult.
 
Everyone is required to wear a DOT or Snell approved helmet and eye protection.
 
Stay on the marked trails. Failure to do so will result in immediate membership termination.
 
A parking tag must be displayed from the mirror of the tow vehicle. Each ATV must be tagged before entering the trail system.
 
All ATVs must be registered and insured and proof must be provided with your membership application.
 
No loud pipes.
 
Never ride alone.
 
Ride within your limitations.
 
Respect the rights of others.
 
All riders without a campsite must park in the designated parking area.
 
Dune buggies and full-size four wheel and two wheel drive vehicles with a wheel track of 63 inches or greater are prohibited on all trails.
 
Camp Road Speed Limit - 5 mph
 
Absolutely no wheel-spin on the campground roads. Do not roost, do donuts or spin stones on ANY road, including Campground Roads.
 
Absolutely no operating an ATV, UTV or dirt bike while under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
 
No riding on the trails after dark. Head back on time!
 
Stop, then cross all paved roads at a 90 degree angle.
 
All members are required to report any violations or transgressions to Security Officials or Officers.
 
Do not ride on any State or Township Roads. (Only in an EMERGENCY, and then, on the shoulder of the road ONLY). NOTE: Police may still issue a fine if you are on a State road.
 
Do not ride on the roads that go around the sides of the lake. Doing so will result in immediate membership termination, without refund.
 
If another MEMBER, Security Patrol or Officer tells you that you are doing something wrong, STOP DOING IT. If you don't agree, go to the Snack Bar and discuss it there. Do not get into an argument or give an attitude with the individual who spoke to you or your membership will be terminated immediately, without refund.
 
All campers must abide by LDRA rules and regulations.
 
Quiet hours in the campground are 10:00 pm to 9:00 am.
 
Absolutely NO LITTERING, take your trash home!!! Campers may use dumpsters.
 
Discharging any sewage or wastewater on the campgrounds or trails, or into the waters of Demmon Lake Recreation is strictly forbidden. A dump station is available for campers.
 
Tree cutting, burning tires, discharge of firearms, reckless riding, excessive noise after dark and littering are strictly prohibited.

Trails WILL be closed during deer gun season in the fall.
 
Abide by all NYS ATV laws and regulations.
 
Violation of any of the Rules may result in your membership being terminated.
